In affiliation with Amazon.com, TripleChat is happy to bring you the new releases each week for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable. We bring what titles are coming out, all the details of who is behind the title, as well as a product description (courtesy of Amazon.com).
Along with new game releases we will also highlight the top five bluray releases each week that we feel will best suite movie and TV show fans alike. Obviously opinions will differ but this is our site dang nabbit so our opinion will be heard! This is region specific to North America.
This Week: What a week for gamers. Three of the more anticipated games of this year are making their way into retailers this week, one of which has already been released once. This week we see the release of Nathan Drake’s second adventure in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves which is sure to sell like crazy. Bethesda re-releases Fallout 3 this week with all the DLC (which is finally on PSN) included for just $60. So for those who don’t yet own the game this is the best package of them all considering it will cost you more to buy the original release and all the DLC. To round up the big three – EA releases the Jack Black headlining Brutal Legend, which is Tim Schafer’s latest escapade from his crazy ass mind.
Other releases include the Complete Edition of Midnight Club: LA which includes all the DLC as well as a Greatest Hits price. I know, we featured this game a couple of weeks ago. It must have been delayed. Elsewhere we have Way of the Samurai 3 coming out, another Cars game (keep in mind, only one Cars movie has been made), a game based off the new CGI movie Where The Wild Things Are, and Half Minute Hero for PSP.
On the Bluray side of things, kind of a low-key week. With Transformers 2 hitting blu in just a couple of weeks we thought we might see a couple of big titles get pushed up to avoid being slammed by fans of that flick. This week the best new release we have to offer is Sam Raimi’s return to horror in Drag Me to Hell. Joining it is the latest Will Ferrell movie, Land of the Lost. There was another new release this week, but it featured Sandra Bullock so we figured it was best to not promote it. Joining the two new releases are three catalog titles – the first South Park movie which debuts the series in high def, the Jim Carrey version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and to end it up we got Natural Born Killers.
